Aslam has no academic qualification. He is given to cheating and lives on the money he earns from illegal business. He is simply a fraud who takes high rates of interests from peoples, and leads them to poverty and destitution. He also deals in sugar. In plain words, Aslam is the other name of cheating.

Aslam’s tricks of cheating are quite interesting. He hoards sugar in his warehouse and creats an artificial a crisis. In this way, he sells sugar at a high rate to a particular class and deprive other peoples of sugar. This is however; known to all but no one says anything about it. It’s because they have no substantive proof.

A very talented TV reporter once observes the matter. He hatches a plan to give this cheater a good lesson. As a part of his plan, he disguises himself as an Arabian. He tells his trick to his boss and he approves it. Now that reporter launches his mission.

It is the holy Ramadan month then. The market price is shooting up and up. Aslam is having a roaring business. One day, the reporter goes to Aslam’s shop. He is dressed as an Arab. He goes to the shop and tells the salesman directly that he wants to meet the owner. The salesman mistakes the reporter for an Arabian oil tycoon and takes him to Aslam with gay abandon.

In Aslam’s room, the reporter (dressed as Arabian) says that he is going to spend the Ramadan in Dhaka . He has come with lots of people and rented a house. But they don't have any sugar. He has come to know that Aslam sells sugar at a high price, but he has a store full of it. He just wants o see the store-room and wants to buy sugar for an amount of fifteen thousand taka. He knows that the current rate is 150 taka per kg, but he’ll buy it at a double rate. Aslam’s face gets dazzled with a broad smile, thinking that he is going to win the jackpot. He immediately takes the reporter to his store-room and tells him about it.

The next day, Aslam was waiting for the reporter eagerly. At that time, the reporter finally came and told him to get the sugar ready. He also told that a friend of his had come with him. Aslam gave the reporter and his friend some rich food. They cordially denied. Then they asked Aslam to show them the ware house of sugar. In the ware house, the reporter assumed his real appearance. He introduced his friend as a police super. The S.P. quickly arrested Aslam for storing sugar illegally. He also seized the whole shop and arrested all of Aslam’s accomplices. The sugar in that store is distributed at a very low late by the police. The reporter is awarded by the government.
