Rafiq happened to be a terrorist in the Al-kayeda. He loved to play with guns. He never dreamt of being a terrorist or a law-breaker. He was born in the Death Valley called Afghanistan, which has become the breeding ground for terrorists. He treasured a dream to be playing in their national cricket team. But unfortunately for himself, all his dreams were dashed after a day in September, 2008.

 

 

                                He was then only sixteen. A gang of terrorists came to his house. They came to loot money and treasure. When they came across Rafiq, the commander decided to take him to the terrorist camp. No sooner said than done. He was taken to the camp and could not help growing a terrorist.

                         

                                  

    Rafiq had been in the camp for two years and was a party to the terrorist group. An old writer was held hostage by his group. Everyone in there laughed at him but Rafiq behaved with him respectfully and gave him good food. Though a terrorist, Rafiq was very naive and humble to elderly people.  

 

                               It was a misfortune on the part of the terrorists that they had kidnapped a very famous writer of a super power country. The rescue soldiers were let loose to hunt down the terrorists. They located the terrorists' position and surrounded the building which the writer was in. Suddenly, a bomb exploded violently. The soldiers had taken the risk and blew up the whole house in the twinkling of an eye. The commander quickly fled with all his followers at his heels.

                                           

        

   Rafiq and the writer were left in the room. As it started crumbling, Rafiq beckoned to him to run away and not to think about him. The writer grabbed at the offer and at once ran away with his life at hand. Immediately after, another bomb blasted and everything was over for the poor boy--Rafiq.
