A cunning goat

Once upon a time, in the dark Indian forest, there lived a very clever goat. He always tried to fool people and his vision was to be the one and only king in the jungle. He tried to do anything for his well. He was a very, very, selfish goat who never tried to do good things. All the things in his mind were bad thoughts. The goat did various things to capture the crown of king.

The king, then in that forest was however, very weak and ill. He, the tiger didn’t have any children. So, after his death, there would be a new king in the forest. The cunning goat took it as a chance and he went to the king himself. Then he told him that he knew a very secret medicine that could be made from a jackal’s brain. Hearing this, the king told his guards to catch and get the brain out of the jackal. But that was also a dirty trick, because he wanted to kill the strongest contender for the king’s position. He did not stop in this. Rather he decided to kill two birds at one shot. That goat made the medicine, but he added some wild leaves which are considered to be vital for the king.

After making the mixture, he gave it to the king and told him that if he takes it in midnight, then he would be cured surely. The cunning goat had some other thing in his mind. He decided to get out of the jungle before the king dies. He had other things to do.

The next morning, one of the guards found the king dead. They buried the body of the king royally. Then there was a fight amongst the animals to get the throne of that jungle. The fight kept going on between huge animals. Slowly it grew bigger and clever animals also took part in it. The fight was on for a year.

Years passed and still there was no result at the war. None won the war there. Then, in one day, a stranger came into that forest. He was in fact, that cunning goat who was living on another jungle while in the times of war. He also went into the village there and painted himself red and yellow while going aside a colour-store. He simply looked strange scaring. Every animal on that forest got scared looking at him.

The goat took that very chance and in one fine morning, he called up all the animals in a place. There, he declared himself to be the king of the jungle. This was a matter that all thought was a good idea, because the goat looked strong and powerful. The goat used the most of his power as a king, having lots of fun. He didn’t look at the well of other animals. Instead of helping them, he used them in bad works.

The bad part of the goat was not liked by an old rabbit. He tried his best to prove that their king is not a good one. Following his plan, he decided to call some of his friends. Then, they made a plan. They called all the animals in that forest to come in a specific place and hide in the bushes. The rabbit then selected the bear, the elephant and some of his other friends.

The next day, they decided to do the work they planned. Following that, while the goat was out for a walk, the rabbit got in front of him. He then said to the goat that he is a fake king, and he can never be a true king. Hearing that, the very goat rushed with anger to hit the rabbit. But all that went in vain. In fact the bear came from the bush and he chased the goat. In a very bad situation, the goat decided to run away. But then there came the elephant. He wrapped the goat with his trunks and threw him into a pond. Then all the animals saw that after being cleaned, that animal they feared was just a goat.

After his identity was disclosed, the goat was sent out of the jungle. The old and wise rabbit became the new king. There was peace everywhere till his time.
